What is Hypnosis? Hypnosis is a natural process that triggers change while in a deep state of relaxation. Hypnosis can be defined as a heightened state of suggestibility.
Who Can Be Hypnotized? Just about everyone can be hypnotized, it is really a normal state of mind. Have you ever driven past an exit or road realizing a few minutes later what you did? Or suddenly noticed a minor cut or bruise on your body and wondered how it got there? How about not seeing something right in front of you? These are all examples of what we call spontaneous hypnosis. When you experience hypnosis in a professional setting you are creating this state of mind intentionally at a particular time for a particular reason.
Basic hypnosis is a process that creates change through direct suggestion. I use basic hypnosis to help facilitate change for particular issues; dependent upon how long you have been experiencing the issue and the severity of such. If you want to experience a wonderful sense of well-being this level of hypnosis is very effective. This method is very effect to help you sleep, relieve minor stress, help you relax and incorporate new messages of health & well being. Although the effects of direct suggestion used in basic hypnosis is said to be temporary, when sessions are supplemented with an audio the changes can be lasting. I offer a customized CD with private sessions.
What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy can be defined as the use of hypnotic techniques that help move a client toward health and wholeness. This includes simple behavioral changes to more intense changes such as overcoming severe stress, anxiety, sleep issues, grief and loss, and the spectrum of issues one finds when experiencing PTSD, whether diagnosed or not.
Advanced techniques used in hypnotherapy are powerful and life changing techniques. This process requires several sessions as I use a five phase process. You can expect lifetime changes through this process.
It is my mission to serve those whom have served this Country, and their families. I myself come from three generations of War Veterans; World War II where my father served, the Gulf War where my brother served and most recently the Iraq War where my nephew served. It is time to honor our warriors and support their transition home, and collectively we can do this.
